About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled SAP Functional Lead Consultant to join our team at Marel. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for leading a team of application specialists and overseeing the daily operations of our SAP applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of application specialists in the development and maintenance of SAP applications
  • Oversee daily operations, including monitoring team performance and motivating team members
  • Develop and implement strategies for continuous improvement of procedures and work instructions
  • Collaborate with the hosting provider, Infra department, and customer coordinator to ensure optimal performance of application services
  • Provide input to the Team Manager ERP for the Application roadmap
  • Responsible for technical development within the team by mapping competence levels and proposing development plans
Requirements
  • Team lead skills and leadership competencies
  • Ability to replace the Team Manager in decision boards/project executive level when needed
  • Strategic thinking and business coaching capabilities
  • Expert understanding of SAP applications and ability to communicate with customers and suppliers
  • Ability to handle cross-application work and recognize and solve problems in a structural way
