About the Role

Growth Tribe is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to fill the role of Office Management and Human Resources Intern. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supporting our HR Department and contributing to the smooth operation of our office.

Key Responsibilities

**Office Management (70%):**

  • Facilities Management: Ensure our office is a welcoming and productive space for our team and clients.
  • Event Planning: Organize company and team events, such as game nights, drinks, and birthdays.
  • Inventory Management: Manage our inventory of stationery, equipment, groceries, and other supplies.
  • Mail and Delivery Management: Receive and sort incoming mail and deliveries, and manage outgoing mail.
  • Office Policies and Procedures: Assist in developing and implementing office policies and procedures.
  • Office Layout Planning: Assist in planning and implementing office layout improvements.

**Human Resources (30%):**

  • Onboarding: Support the team with the onboarding of new employees.
  • HRIS Management: Maintain employees' records in our HRIS system, BambooHR.
  • Performance Management: Assist with performance management procedures.
  • HR Projects: Assist with ad hoc HR projects.
  • HR Trends and Best Practices: Stay up-to-date with the latest HR trends and best practices.
  • HR Process Optimization: Identify opportunities for process improvements and design and implement new systems.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Initiative and Proactivity: Take initiative and be consistently proactive.
  • Organization and Attention to Detail: Be highly organized and have exceptional attention to detail.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Problem-Solving and Analytical Skills: Have strong problem-solving skills and analytical abilities.
  • Adaptability: Be able to cope with constantly changing processes and adapt how you work on a daily basis.
  • Language Skills: Be a fluent English speaker.
  • Availability: Be available for at least 32 hours per week and live in or around Amsterdam.
  • Duration: Be available for 5-6 months.
