About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Buying Manager to join our European Buying Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic product plans to drive business growth and success for Calvin Klein in the EU region.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and execute European merchandise plans by analyzing future trends, current business, and collecting feedback from directly operated stores, brand partners, and countries.
  2. In partnership with Global and European Product Teams, identify potential gaps in the line plan and make recommendations for improving the assortment for the market.
  3. Responsible for end-to-end buying activities, from collection development to market preparation and execution, and post-market reconciliation, sales analysis, and feedback gathering.
  4. Create aligned assortments in collaboration with Ecom to drive DTC business and consumer messaging.
  5. Review seasonal assortments relative to the merchandise plan and ensure they can meet company targets.
  6. Keep relevant departments and affiliated offices informed of key global product initiatives and liaise with involved parties to ensure those initiatives are launched according to the agreed plan.
  7. Collaborate with Merchandise Planning to monitor yearly and seasonal budgets and inventory plans by country.
  8. Responsible for preparing market presentations with line and product direction, style assortments, and pricing.
  9. Monitor and analyze sales performance and inventory levels by market.
  10. Provides core and seasonal product knowledge support to stores to drive sales and service and generate excitement within our retail channels.
  11. Communicates closely with other stakeholders to continually understand buying trends, developments amongst competitors, consumer insights, etc.
  12. Lead team members in all cross-functions toward business and profitability objectives, monitor progress against objectives, and define strategies to correct problems as they arise.
  13. Lead and communicate effectively with a team of Retail Merchandisers/Buyers at varying levels, responsible for team building, coaching, and training.

About You:

We are looking for a highly experienced individual with a minimum of 12+ years of experience in a relevant role within the industry. You should have excellent communication skills, a command of the English language (written and spoken), and additional European languages a plus. You should be able to work on your own initiative, be proactive, and have a team player mentality, with a can-do attitude and an ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

You should be a hard worker, flexible, and able to multitask, with a solution-oriented approach. You should also live the PVH values: Entrepreneurial mindset, Team mentality, Respect, Simplicity, Ownership, and Youthful spirit. You should have and/or value an international background and mindset, able to understand and interact with different cultures.

A command of MS Office, Adobe Creative Suite, and other retail-specific software is a plus. You should be an enthusiast and willing to take on the role as CK Brand Ambassador.
