The Quality Engineer plays a crucial role in ensuring that the purchased goods and services in purchase orders meet the agreed-upon specifications and conditions. This includes product quality, conditions, and other relevant factors.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct product inspections on components and systems, either internally or at the supplier's premises.
- Take responsibility for carrying out inspections according to the Inspection & Test Plan (ITP) and serve as the single point of contact for QC-related matters.
- Lead the order process, both domestically and internationally, and control corrective measures in all quality-related matters.
- Ensure quality compliance and proactively visit suppliers to validate order progress and discuss detailed plans.
- Review applicable quality assurance documents, such as Welding documents, NDT documents, ITP, MRB, etc.
- Maintain a safe and tidy working environment.
- Higher vocational education in a relevant field, such as mechanical engineering, controls, or hydraulics.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in inspection of welding, materials, fabrication, preservation, and rotating equipment.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Dutch, both spoken and written.
- Good knowledge of production processes, manufacturing, sequence of manufacturing, and coating techniques.
- Familiarity with the process and work sequence for manufacturing, installing, and commissioning Offshore mission equipment.
- Familiarity with the function, operation, and customer use of the Offshore mission equipment portfolio.
- Able to read, interpret, and understand mechanical/hydraulic/electrical drawings and specifications.
- Familiarity with the use of measuring tools (tolerances, alignment, adjustment).
- Experience working with inspection agencies, such as Lloyds, BV, and DNV.
- A gross monthly salary between €3497 and €5100 + 8% holiday allowance (based on a full-time working week).
- €0.21 per kilometer commuting allowance.
