About the Role

TenneT is a leading energy company that is driving the transition to a sustainable and green future. We are seeking a highly skilled Policy Advisor Offshore Integration to join our team in Arnhem.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement policies for offshore integration, ensuring seamless operation of the power system.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to advance future system operations and suggest new ideas.
  • Review and update current requirements for High Voltage Direct Current systems (HVDC systems).
  • Oversee and contribute to research needed for integrating the offshore system into our existing network.
  • Work closely with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders, both nationally and internationally.
Requirements
  • Academic studies in electrical or power system engineering.
  • Multiple years of experience working in transmission system operations and system development.
  • Knowledge of system operation processes (both planning and real-time) as well as control and protection schemes.
  • Strong verbal and written skills in English.
