About the Role

RWE AG is seeking a highly skilled HSE Advisor to join our Offshore Wind Development team in the Netherlands. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the health, safety, and environmental management of our offshore wind projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to development project teams on health, safety, and environmental management issues.
  • Maintain HSE risk registers for allocated offshore development activities and liaise with procurement on HSE topics.
  • Produce, review, and update HSE-related documentation required for allocated offshore development activities.
  • Support line/project management in meeting their HSE responsibilities and engage with development teams to eliminate and reduce risks.
  • Cooperate with line management and JV board members to develop and implement measures to address HSE challenges.
  • Plan, steer, and follow up on HSE activities at development project level in coordination with the fleet-wide HSE management of RWE OFFSHORE.
  • Attend meetings, site visits, and technology reviews with sub-contractors and clients as required.
Requirements
  • Degree in Health and Safety related discipline, engineering, or safety engineering.
  • Recognised qualification in Occupational Health & Safety.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience as an HSE professional.
  • A Level 3 or higher qualification in an environmental discipline in Environmental Management.
  • Relevant audit qualification and GWO certification desirable.
  • Previous experience working in Wind Construction/Renewables Energy Construction and understanding of Wind Development activities in the Netherlands.
  • Ability to demonstrate a good working knowledge of relevant Dutch legislation and a flexible, practical, and creative approach to HSE management.
