Job Title: Electrical Engineering Coordinator

As an Electrical Engineering Coordinator at Oceanco, you will be part of a dynamic project team responsible for delivering high-quality electrical engineering solutions for our yachts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and realise the availability of all engineering documents related to the electrical discipline.
  • Develop a detailed planning and delivery schedule for engineering documentation in close cooperation with your manager and involved third parties.
  • Act as the first point of contact for Regulatory Authorities, Owner's Representative, Designers, and Subcontractors to monitor day-to-day progress and alignment of engineering work.
  • Lead, develop, and motivate a functionally assigned team of subordinate in-house professionals.
  • Coordinate the Engineering package to the level of production information and remain content responsible throughout the building process.
Requirements:
  • Higher Vocational Education or Secondary Vocational Education with relevant work experience (MBO+) related to the electrical discipline.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience preferably in the maritime industry and/or yacht building industry.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience within the specific technical discipline.
  • Decisive, persuasive, customer-oriented, and a comprehensive view of the entire process.
  • Pro-active and problem-solving in your approach.
  • In-depth knowledge and experience related to your technical expertise.
  • Knowledge of MS office applications, AutoCad.
  • A good command of written and spoken English.
