Responsibilities in Your Role
Your primary objective in this position is to communicate the clinical value of the Advanced Critical Care (ACC) product line based on your clinical expertise. You will focus on overcoming market access challenges, facilitating the adoption of new technologies, increasing utilization of consumables/sensors, and enhancing patient outcomes. The key growth areas for ACC include Respiratory Compromise and Cerebral and Somatic Compromise.
You will be responsible for professionally marketing the complete range of Advanced Critical Care products to hospitals and healthcare professionals, ensuring quality and consistency in product and service delivery. Building strong ethical relationships with customers will be essential to promote our products and expand market penetration through clinical value selling. You will collaborate with the entire Acute Monitoring team, Sales Account Manager, and Inside Sales team to maximize business opportunities.
Some of your key responsibilities will include:
Customer Engagement
• Achieving sales targets focused on growth.
• Preparing presentations, proposals, and sales agreements.
• Coordinating offers/tenders, addressing complaints, and managing back orders.
• Organizing product demonstrations and workshops.
Business Expansion
• Leading clinical sales initiatives within the territory, identifying prospects, and developing action plans to follow up on new leads.
• Conducting initial product demonstrations and coordinating clinical evaluations with the Clinical Application Specialist.
• Creating a target list and sales strategy/account mapping while acting as a project manager for each opportunity, mobilizing resources as needed. Preparing documentation to activate and maintain contract services.
• Maintaining customer insights by gathering information on account activities, potential, key decision-makers, competitive landscape, and market share.
Support & Training
• Communicating new product and service opportunities, special developments, and feedback gathered through field activities to relevant company personnel.
• Coordinating with company staff to fulfill the requirements necessary to close sales.
• Providing verbal technical support and organizing regular training sessions.
• Assisting with National/International training needs.
Essential Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree required; a solid medical background is highly advantageous.
• Proven sales experience and a track record of business growth.
• Demonstrated commercial experience (3 to 5 years), preferably in the medical device sector.
• Fluency in Dutch and English, both written and verbal, is essential.
• Ability to work independently with strong time management skills.
• Proficient in IT, including all Microsoft applications and modern multimedia tools, sales systems, and daily CRM usage.
• A valid clean driving license.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in product launches, territory planning, and forecasting is a plus.
