The Global Process Owner will be responsible for ensuring high-quality and compliance from a financial perspective for all legal entities. This individual will oversee the global process design, deployment, and optimization of the R2R process within the global Finance function, driving world-class performance.
Key Responsibilities- Define and communicate a clear vision and strategy for Record to Report processes across the JET operating model.
- Own R2R processes and act as a subject matter expert for process documentation.
- Partner with Group Reporting, Group FP&A, Reportable Segment FDs, and Country Finance leads to ensure effective support and best-in-class user experience.
- Set and oversee the maintenance of Record to Report process level master data, aligning with global data policy and standards.
- Collaborate with Risk and Control and Tax teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and deliver high-quality data.
- Define and deliver R2R Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) to measure process effectiveness and efficiency.
- Identify, prioritize, and manage process improvement initiatives to drive better decisions and support accelerated growth/efficiency initiatives.
- Approve/reject business cases requesting R2R process changes and review/set up accounting flows.
- Act as a stakeholder to foster a culture of change within the Record to Report domain.
- Conduct knowledge transfer to R2R team members on processes and technology.
- Ensure delivery of R2R services, including asset and transaction reporting, period close, finance and external reporting, tax planning and compliance, transfer pricing, decision support.
- Manage, prepare, administer, and direct the account closing and financial reporting process of the GFO as required.
- Adhere to timely and accurate preparation of financial information related to regulatory reporting.
- Bachelor's Degree in accounting, finance, or equivalent, plus Professional Accounting qualification (e.g., CPA, ACCA).
- Extensive experience in the R2R domain (> 10 years), with a strong understanding of the R2R end-to-end process.
- Excellent understanding of critical success factors as a reliable, effective, and efficient business service provider.
- Experience in improving internal governance, controls, and preparing KPI/Dashboard reporting.
- Leadership skills with experience in leading, managing, and developing R2R teams.
- Experience in process design, process mapping, improving process quality using best practices, process review, and process compliance.
- Takes initiative and identifies issues with a solutions-oriented approach, a strong ability to overcome challenges, and high-level confidence in decision-making ability.
- Experience with Workday and OneStream Consolidation Tool is preferred.
- Demonstrate knowledge of IFRS guidelines.
- Experience with project management and willingness to deliver in changing environments while effectively managing timelines.
- Good communication skills to collaborate with various cross-functional stakeholders and effectively cascade the mission and vision of the Finance department.
- Excellent command of English (both written and verbal proficiency).
- Can-do attitude, energetic, analytical, and forward-thinking.
