The role of the Gas Safety Compliance Engineer involves establishing comprehensive safety system requirements to guarantee that ASML systems remain both secure and compliant. Do you possess expertise in gas safety and compliance? Are you prepared to embrace a new challenge?
Key Responsibilities
In this position, you will be tasked with interpreting international safety regulations and standards, converting them into specific safety requirements for various stakeholders within ASML. You will also provide support and review project designs to ensure adherence to safety standards. The role encompasses collaboration with cross-sector stakeholders, necessitating effective communication and alignment with each party. Key responsibilities include:
- Analyzing and interpreting safety regulations and standards related to hazardous gases, translating them into clear requirements for ASML personnel.
- Documenting requirements in high-level safety assurance documents and guidelines for users.
- Communicating requirements to relevant stakeholders within the organization.
- Participating in project specifications and requirements reviews, advising on optimal solutions when necessary.
- Developing training programs to ensure adequate knowledge of hazardous gas safety is integrated within project teams.
- Collaborating in multidisciplinary teams to devise structural solutions for safety and compliance across various sectors.
Qualifications & Experience
- 5-10 years of experience in a gas safety or compliance role, or 3 years in an architectural role at ASML.
- In-depth knowledge of safety regulations and standards (e.g., NEN/IEC, OSHA, ISO).
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field.
