The Consumer App is a vital contributor to our e-commerce success and is integral to our CRM strategy. To maintain steady development progress, we require a talented Business Analyst who can effectively connect business needs with development efforts. Our aim is to deliver a seamless and cutting-edge digital experience through the Rituals Consumer App. As a Business Analyst, you will gather intricate business requirements for new app features and convert them into actionable solutions. You will collaborate with stakeholders, such as the UX and content teams, to translate their needs into technical specifications for the development team.

This role is ideal for an analytical and organized individual. Key responsibilities include:

  • Deeply understanding business inputs for new features to translate them into detailed user stories for the development backlog.
  • Collaborating closely with UX designers, architects, and developers while maintaining a focus on the overarching objectives.
  • Creating diagrams and flowcharts to illustrate optimal solutions, considering the impact on other platforms and systems.
  • Identifying process improvements to elevate the Rituals Consumer App.
  • Taking pride in delivering exceptional products in collaboration with the team, including Product Owners, Business Analysts, Testers, and external developers.

  • Over 5 years of experience as a business analyst in an e-commerce setting.
  • Strong analytical capabilities, with experience in overseeing the design, development, and implementation of software solutions.
  • The ability to articulate ideas in both technical and stakeholder-friendly terms.
  • Experience in identifying (technical) dependencies and managing them effectively.
  • A self-motivated approach, with the capacity to prioritize and execute tasks in a complex and sometimes high-pressure environment.
