Mechanical System Layout Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical System Layout Architect to join our team at ASML. As a key member of our Mechanical Development department, you will be responsible for designing and validating the mechanical system architecture of our cutting-edge machines.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform system layout studies to optimize commonality, seismic, build, adjust, serviceability, safety, and transport.
- Collaborate with hardware delivering projects and pre-install groups to manage budgets and drive solution directions.
- Maintain and optimize module configurations for build, service, cycle time, and cost.
- Validate concept changes and prescribe tests for layout, mass, and tolerances.
- Support integration of new systems in our factory and cooperate with the factory and field to identify and drive improvements.
- Define, validate, and lead on timely delivery and updates of structural layout documentation.
- Drive continuous improvement of deliverables and processes.
- Master or Bachelor degree in Engineering, preferably Mechanics or Mechatronics.
- Experience in validating layout and building complex machines or products.
- At least 7 years of working experience.
- Experience with Siemens NX and tolerance calculations is preferred.
- At least 2 years of ASML experience is preferred.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Able to steer design teams and drive solution directions.
- Critical thinking and high drive for quality.
- Pro-active attitude and ability to zoom out and determine main priorities and risks.
- Good analytical skills and ability to work structured.
