Job Title: Floor Manager

As a Floor Manager at Batavia Stad Fashion Outlet, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management and operation of a store or department in line with the company's overall policy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage stock levels and make key decisions about stock control and ordering.
  • Maintain market awareness and perform competitor analysis, and introduce new and innovative business processes to maintain a competitive advantage.
  • Drive Sales through 100% execution of the company's customer service standards.
  • Promote and use product knowledge / training tools provided by the company.
  • Effectively manage customer complaints in a timely and effective way.
  • Execute visual merchandising directives to the company standards.
  • Coach employees on the shop floor and supervise and motivate staff to perform their best.
  • Ensure a smooth sales process, handle returns, merchandise and stockroom maintenance.
  • Communicate to the Store manager what is driving sales results and discuss any issues/priorities, in order to develop strategies to maximize business.
Requirements:
  • Minimum experience of 1 year in a similar position.
  • Fluent in Dutch and English.
  • Diploma in Retail Business or something similar.
  • MBO or higher.
  • Approachable.
Working Conditions:
  • Required to stand during scheduled hours.
  • Hours usually include weekends, evenings and holidays.
  • Kneeling, stooping, climbing ladders, using stairs, reaching, pulling and lifting weights of usually 2 – 14 kilos.
