Role Overview
The Operational Risk Manager will be responsible for facilitating risk assessments across the organization and enhancing risk control measures. This role requires expertise in risk management, IT affinity, and knowledge of data governance, processes, and controls.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct risk assessments and develop recommendations to management on non-financial risk management issues.
- Prepare and present detailed risk reports, including trend analyses and risk opinions on key risk and key performance indicators.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to drive a culture of security awareness and compliance.
- Stay updated on emerging threats and trends in non-financial risk types to proactively advise the company's security posture.
Requirements
- Post HBO/Post Master in risk management or related field, or studying for one.
- Professional risk management certifications such as PRM, CRMP, CRISC, CIA, or CRMA.
- Knowledge of risk management frameworks and relevant regulations.
- Around 5 years of experience in non-financial risk management, preferably in the banking or financial services industry.
- Proven ability to assess control effectiveness, analyze complex issues, develop actionable plans, and drive results.
- Experience in enhancing risk awareness and providing training in the risk management domain.
- Good communication and collaboration skills to work effectively across teams and departments.
What We Offer
- A gross monthly salary based on a 36-hour work week, including vacation pay and benefit budget.
- A Benefit Budget of 11% of your salary, allowing you to acquire additional employment benefits.
- Five weeks of vacation per year, with the option to purchase an additional four weeks per year.
- A Personal Development Budget of €1,000 per year, which can be accumulated up to €3,000.
