Job Title: Senior Information Security Officer
About the Role
Fugro is seeking a highly skilled Senior Information Security Officer to join our Global Information Security team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, challenging, and advising on the security architecture of Fugro's IT infrastructure.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Participate in architecture meetings to ensure compliance with Fugro's information security policies and principles.
- Challenge proposed IT solutions and designs, and determine improvement possibilities on security controls.
- Maintain a holistic overview of security platforms and tools used within the company.
- Advise on the design and implementation of security measures and controls to secure the organization.
- Determine smart solutions for integrating security systems and solutions within the IT infrastructure.
- Provide technical guidance and support to IT and security teams, and stay current with the latest security technologies, trends, and threats.
- Evaluate and recommend new innovative security technologies, solutions, and services to enhance the organization's security posture.
Your Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus.
- At least 5 years of experience in Information Security in an architectural role, with proven knowledge of Information Security platforms, industry standards, and tools.
- CISM certificate or capable and willing to successfully acquire one within 12 months. An ISO 27001 Lead Auditor certificate is considered a plus.
- Full knowledge and understanding of security architectural principles such as ZTA, SABSA, and Jericho.
- Excellent organizational, coordinator, communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Excellent English language skills, both written and oral.
