About the Role

Fugro is seeking an experienced Information Security Officer to join our global team. As a key member of our Information Security team, you will play a critical role in maintaining the company's Information Security posture and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Your Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a solid understanding of performing risk assessments to inform policy maintenance;
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across functions and regions to identify information security risks and ensure compliance with Fugro's Information Security policy and standards;
  • Provide effective communication and feedback on security compliance to various stakeholders at all levels of the organization;
  • Drive and achieve a clear positive change to the information security posture through regular engagement and collaboration;
  • Share knowledge and insights to increase Information Security awareness throughout the organization.

Requirements

  • BSc or MSc degree in Information Security, Information Technology, or relevant professional experience;
  • At least 5 years of experience in information security;
  • Excellent knowledge of Information Security industry standards, such as ISO 27001 and NIST Cyber Security Framework;
  • CISM certificate or willingness to acquire one within 12 months;
  • Experience working with internal and external auditors and demonstrated experience in obtaining and maintaining ISO 27001 certification;
  • Excellent English language skills, both written and oral.
