Job Overview

As a member of our IT team, you will be responsible for providing onsite IT support for our Netherlands locations, as well as remote support for the EMEA region. You will also be responsible for hardware delivery, including maintaining our central Dordrecht stockroom and disposal room, organizing hardware shipments to VGO employees in EMEA and hardware returns/disposals.

Additionally, you will provide Tier 3 remote support for more complex PC and infrastructure issues for EMEA users, and be on call/after hours for emergencies & systems upgrades. You will also be responsible for computer room and network support, including maintaining network cabling (patching), regular health checks of equipment, etc.

You will also support some of the equipment used in our plants and warehouses, such as wireless barcode scanners, dedicated desktop PCs, industrial label printers, etc.

Requirements
  • MTS or HTS computer technology
  • 3+ years of experience, preferably in an international organization
  • ITIL foundation preferred, Microsoft Windows certification is a plus
  • Drivers license
  • Excellent Dutch and English language skills, both oral and writing
  • PC and Windows (10&11) skills
  • Understanding networks (TCP/IP, wiring and patching)
