Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled OBD Calibration Engineer to join our team at Yacht. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for deploying across various fields of heavy duty diesel diagnostic calibration, including misfire, air manager, aftertreatment scantool, and fault manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, plan, and oversee testing on engine testcells as well as on vehicle
  • Analyse data collected by yourself or others, draw conclusions, and propose calibration resolutions
  • Work with complete or incomplete datasets, combining information from different sources, to develop the best solution for our customers while maintaining legal compliance
  • Translate OBD regulations to ensure DAF engine development is compliant with OBD regulation and DAF product specification book

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor of Master degree in Mechanical, Automotive, or Electrical Engineering with an interest in Automotive or Vehicle Engineering
  • Experience with and knowledge of OBD regulation and OBD systems
  • Data analysis skills
  • Ability to quickly become acquainted with complex and abstract issues
  • Structured working approach combined with pleasure to work in teams
  • Pro-active attitude and ability to work with many different people and organizations
  • Good MS-Office and Matlab skills
  • Good English skills and willingness to learn Dutch
