Job Title: Manufacturing Engineering System Integration Supervisor

As a key member of the Operations team at Thermo Fisher Scientific, we are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Engineering System Integration Supervisor to lead our team of engineers and technical specialists. This is a full-time position that offers a competitive salary, 13th month, holiday allowance, and annual incentive bonus.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a team of engineers and technical specialists to ensure the successful integration of manufacturing engineering systems.
  • Drive the defined strategy and align goals with direct reports to achieve business objectives.
  • Organize proper staffing of engineers to provide adequate levels of technical expertise.
  • Prioritize work and resources across the team to ensure efficient project delivery.
  • Improve team effectiveness and contribute to key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Have daily management in place for the team and drive KPIs within required performance.
  • Guide team members' professional development through goal setting, mentoring, and coaching.
  • Provide input on succession planning and competence matrix.
  • Actively demonstrate and apply leadership behaviors and 4i Values.
  • Remove barriers to success and enable a work environment where colleagues can be their best self and motivated to excel.
  • Provide input for capital investments and coordinate higher-level factory/supply chain critical issues.
Requirements:
  • University degree in a technical area or a combination of education and experience demonstrating required skills.
  • Typically requires 10+ years of experience in a high-tech industry environment in service, development, or manufacturing.
  • Typically requires 5 years of management experience (people and/or projects) in a manufacturing, technical support, or service management role in a high-tech industry environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, including communication with multiple levels of management, including executive management.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop people via mentoring and coaching.
  • Demonstrated experience with leading and developing technical teams.
  • Working knowledge of cross-site and cross-functional project management, data analysis, and resource planning.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse customers in English and preferably also Dutch language.
  • Collaborative team-player with a hands-on and can-do mentality.
