Overview

In this role, you will lead our human centred design practice, driving transformational change across our clients' businesses.

Your Responsibilities

  • Lead project teams to deliver high-performing projects that meet client needs and exceed expectations.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, advising and supporting them with leadership and hands-on engagement.
  • Build and guide teams of designers, strategists, business consultants, technologists, and program managers to achieve project goals.
  • Work across the project lifecycle to ensure outcomes and deliverables are sensitive to user needs and client businesses.

Business/Account Development

  • Collaborate on business development efforts with BD and Go-to-Market Teams and fellow discipline leaders to craft approaches, write proposals, and present/pitch to prospective clients.
  • Evaluate opportunities within clients' organisations and create content for frog's demand generation activities.

Design Leadership

  • Manage direct reports, coach, and mentor junior colleagues, providing guidance and support for their growth and specific feedback.
  • Participate in talent acquisition, either as a hiring manager or member of hiring teams.

About You

You have 7-12 years of professional human centred design 'thinking & doing' consulting experience, specifically in areas such as product development lifecycle, visual design, interaction design, service design, product design, design strategy, or experience design.

You possess a strong track record as a design leader and contributor, delivering experience strategies, design systems, products, services, and customer experiences that delight customers/users and achieve business results.

You have excellent leadership and collaboration skills, with the ability to guide high-performing teams using persuasion and influence. Strong presentation and storytelling skills are also essential.

Requirements

  • Professional human centred design experience (7-12 years)
  • Affinity with frog's values and a passion for creating products that meet peoples functional and emotional needs
  • Strong leadership and collaboration skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Willingness to travel for research, project delivery, and client meetings
  • Bilingual (English and Dutch)
