We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Manager to join our team at voco The Hague. As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving new business leads to our hotel and maintaining client relationships.
Key Responsibilities:- Drive Results: Consistently deliver and inspire others by example.
- Serve as Primary Point of Contact: Be the primary point of contact for voco The Hague to all foreign embassies, consulates, and government and international institutions at all revenue points.
- Exceed Revenue Targets: Exceed assigned revenue targets in assigned markets.
- Research and Identify New Business Opportunities: Research, identify, target, and solidify relationships with new and existing Embassy, foreign government, and VIP travel agent accounts.
- Conduct Weekly Sales Calls: Conduct weekly sales calls to Embassy contacts to uncover new business.
- Travel Internationally: Travel internationally, when required, to present the Hotel to foreign nation-based accounts and/or to attend trade shows and sales missions.
- Submit Monthly Sales Highlights: Submit monthly sales highlights, industry intelligence, and account production to the commercial leader.
- Prepare Strategic Plans: Prepare strategic plans as part of the Hotel's ongoing Marketing Plans to achieve a high level of Diplomatic segment penetration to increase RevPAR growth for the Hotel.
- Coordinate with Operational Departments: Coordinate with the Hotel's operational departments the details and needs of Diplomatic groups and VIP guests.
- Maintain Confidentiality: Keep all information regarding Diplomatic guests at the highest levels of confidentiality.
- Flexible Hours: Maintain flexible hours including nights and weekends and be accessible to accounts that are working outside of the Eastern time zone.
- Special Projects: Special projects as assigned by the commercial leader supporting the overall commercial strategy.
