Job Description

As a key member of the Business Control department at HE Space, you will play a vital role in supporting the planning, execution, and follow-up of activities and resources within the Business Unit. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing support to the processes related to the main resources of the organizational entity, including budgeting, manpower, and staffing.
  • Assisting in the planning, preparation, and execution of activities and related procurement actions managed by the Business Unit.
  • Monitoring the status of procurement actions, including activity progress, payment plans, and financial charging.
  • Implementing administrative actions related to procurement and contractual matters, including data entry in ESA Corporate (SAP) and local applications.
  • Maintaining up-to-date data, performing data analysis, and producing reports to management and customers.
  • Assisting in the definition, preparation, and implementation of management support tools to ensure efficient task execution.
  • Liaising with Contract, Budget, and Payment Officers to ensure internal and external administrative data coherence.
  • Contributing to the definition of new and improvement of existing related processes and tools, and producing related documents.
  • Supporting risk management processes, including risk register maintenance and mitigation/reduction action monitoring.
  • Supporting inventory and asset management processes, including coordination of proper registration and valuation of assets.
  • Supporting maintenance of industrial return databases, periodic verification of data consistency, and forecasting of industrial return values.

Qualifications

You will have the following qualifications and relevant experience:

  • University degree in Business Administration or a related field, with relevant experience.
  • Experience in controlling and/or management of activities and resources in the aerospace industry.
  • Highly proficient in the use of modern activities and resource management support tools/databases, including Excel and SAP.
  • Ability to rapidly understand and adapt to ESA specific context and environment, including ESA corporate IT applications.
  • Friendly, positive, and cooperative attitude within the team.
  • Fluency in English is mandatory; knowledge of another European language is an advantage.
