Job Title: Business Operations Assistant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Operations Assistant to join our team at HE Space. As a key member of our Business Control department, you will be responsible for supporting the planning, execution, and follow-up of activities and resources within the Business Unit.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the planning, preparation, execution, and follow-up of activities and related procurement actions.
  • Assess and monitor the status of procurement actions, including activity progress and financial charging.
  • Implement administrative actions related to procurement and contractual matters.
  • Maintain up-to-date data, perform data analysis, and produce reports to management and customers.
  • Assist in the definition, preparation, implementation, and maintenance of management support tools.
  • Liaise with Contract, Budget, and Payment Officers to ensure data coherence.
  • Contribute to the definition of new and improvement of existing processes and tools.
  • Support risk management processes, including risk register maintenance and mitigation actions.
  • Support inventory and asset management processes, including registration and valuation of assets.
  • Support maintenance of industrial return databases and forecasting of industrial return values.

Requirements:

  • University degree in Business Administration or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience in controlling and/or management of activities and resources in aerospace industry.
  • Highly proficient in modern activities and resource management support tools and databases.
  • Experience as user of SAP.
  • Ability to rapidly understand and adapt to ESA specific context and environment.
  • Fluency in English is mandatory; knowledge of another European language is an advantage.
