About the Role

We are seeking an experienced HR Generalist to join our team at Freudenberg. As an HR Generalist, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day HR operations, ensuring compliance with labor laws and regulations, and fostering a positive and productive work environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage HR operations, including employee relations, performance management, and compliance with labor laws and regulations.
  • Oversee time, absenteeism, leave, and overtime records, ensuring compliance with Dutch regulations.
  • Provide assistance to employees on sick leave and conduct performance reviews.
  • Assist in local training and development initiatives, coordinating training logistics and monitoring employee training.
  • Enhance and optimize job descriptions to align with industry standards, fostering engagement and maximizing operational efficiency.
  • Ensure adherence to corporate and local policies, rules, and standards, handling contract matters efficiently.

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of HR principles and practices, including employee relations, performance management, and compliance with labor laws and regulations.
  • 5 or more years of experience in HR, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with employees at all levels.
  • Problem-solving skills to address employee issues, conflicts, and concerns in a timely and effective manner.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and business needs, with the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
  • Uphold strict confidentiality regarding sensitive HR information and employee data.
  • Fluent in Dutch and very good knowledge of English.
