DP World Australia is a leading logistics company that seeks to revolutionize the way goods are moved around the world.


We are currently seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to lead our warehouse operations in Tilburg.



The Role:

The Warehouse Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the warehouse, including managing staff, optimizing workflows, and ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading a team of warehouse staff to achieve all warehouse objectives and targets;
  • Managing efficient resource planning by maintaining forecasts and translating to required resources;
  • Chairing warehouse team meetings and organizing daily/weekly workforce briefings;
  • Ensuring all work instructions, H&S, and Safe Systems of work are complied with;
  • Monitoring sickness absence and managing absence cover and succession planning;
  • Managing training plans to ensure all warehouse roles have competent operators;
  • Supporting financial and budgeting reviews to build operational financial awareness;
  • Working closely with the LEAN Development Specialist to develop a strong LEAN culture;
  • Supporting Engineering in potential automation projects.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain or Business Administration with minimum 5 years' experience in logistical operations as a leader;
  • Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems and Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Excel, Visio);
  • Knowledge and familiarity with Business Intelligence and its capabilities;
  • Strong communication skills, problem-solving ability, attention to detail, critical thinking skills, collaboration, results orientation, confidentiality, and fluency in English.


Estimated Salary: €60,000 - €80,000 per annum
