About the Role

The Senior Logistics Manager is responsible for leading the warehouse team to achieve all objectives and targets while managing the continuous improvement of warehouse operations. Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading the team to achieve operational excellence and efficiency
  • Managing resource planning, forecasts, and translating them into required resources
  • Chairing warehouse team meetings, organizing daily/weekly briefings, and ensuring direct reports understand company expectations and targets
  • Ensuring compliance with work instructions, H&S, and Safe Systems of work
  • Investigating accidents/incidents and implementing robust actions
  • Monitoring sickness absence and updating the database correctly
  • Managing absence cover and succession planning
  • Conducting annual appraisals and reviews, identifying training needs, and implementing training plans
  • Developing a strong LEAN culture from bottom to top
What You Will Bring

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or Business Administration with minimum 5 years' experience in logistical operations as a leader
  • Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems, Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint), and Visio
  • Experience with Business Intelligence and its application in operations
Key Skills and Qualifications

You will be an exceptional listener with strong communication skills, able to explain complex concepts clearly. Your problem-solving skills will help you find creative solutions to challenges. Detail-oriented and critical thinking skills are also essential. Additionally, you will be a strong collaborator, results-oriented, and able to maintain confidentiality.

The estimated salary for this role is $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
