Position Overview

We are seeking a Senior Calibration Specialist to play a vital role in the advancement of heavy-duty diesel engines, focusing on optimizing engine performance and fine-tuning Electronic Control Unit (ECU) functionalities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the enhancement of heavy-duty diesel engines, with a strong emphasis on engine performance and ECU calibration.
  • Engage in the calibration and development of mechatronic components integrated into the engine system.
  • Collaborate with a team on various engine calibration tasks aimed at maximizing fuel efficiency and performance within established parameters.
  • Identify and implement improvements to tools and processes utilized in the calibration efforts.
  • Maintain thorough documentation of test outcomes, tool applications, and potential enhancements for future reference.
  • Work alongside cross-functional teams to provide support for a variety of projects.
  • As a performance calibration engineer, you will report directly to the Engineering Supervisor within the Emission Calibration team.
Qualifications
  • A Master's degree in Automotive Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or Mechatronics is required.
  • A strong interest and familiarity with internal combustion engines is essential.
  • Prior experience in engine testing, particularly with heavy-duty truck engines, is highly advantageous.
  • Experience in heavy-duty truck engine calibration would be a significant plus.
  • Proficiency in MATLAB, including modeling and scripting, is preferred.
  • Knowledge of statistical principles and methodologies is beneficial.
