Head of Operations – Dayes Beauty EU Dayes is a leading European player with more than 120 years of experience in developing and distributing everyday essentials that make daily life easier, more fun and more sustainable. As Head of Operations you will define and steer the operations strategy for Supply Chain, Purchasing and Quality and translate this into a strong vision for the department and a clear operating excellence focus. You will report to the Managing Director of Dayes Beauty & Cosmetics and work closely with the Management Team to assign a strategy and build a strong team. Responsibilities Professionalise the end‑to‑end process of Sourcing, Quality Control, Supply Chain Planning and Logistics. Lead strategic projects in automation, digitalisation and scale‑ability. Lead and develop a team of two Team Leads Buying, two Supply & Demand Planners and a Quality Engineer – a total of about 12 professionals. Optimise and standardise operational work processes; create insight based on KPI’s; implement a project management method; safeguard quality, compliance, safety and sustainability; create a continuous improvement culture. Maintain a positive and collaborative team culture where people can develop, initiatives can be taken and errors are allowed. Qualifications Minimum 8 years of experience in an operational, supply chain or purchasing leadership role, preferably in both large and small environments. You hold an HBO/WO education. Experience in consumer goods (FMCG, retail, private label) is a strong pre‑requisite. You are familiar with project management, LEAN, ERP systems and digital optimisation. You communicate fluently in Dutch and English and know how to drive people through change. You are analytical, decisive and people‑focused.
