Manager Accounts Receivable

The Job As Manager AR and AP, you will be fully responsible for the Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable team. Additionally, you will manage the Credit Control team and support them in prioritizing where needed. A clean AR position and timely cash receipt is crucial. You will lead a team of AR accountants and Credit Controllers that have a focus on ensuring bank receipts are processed in a timely manner and customer cards are maintained. Chasing collection and interacting with Sales Support is crucial for our company. You will monitor, report and take responsibility for the team's results. You will be responsible for compliance with internal accounts receivable processes. The technical content such as management of outstanding credit risk by making financial and risk analyses and monitoring debtor positions will be done in close contact with the Finance Director. Additionally you will guide the Accounts Payable team to ensure a timely and correct processing of invoices and payments. You actively identify improvements in processes and implement them in practice. In doing so, you will liaise with our customer and sales support departments and other colleagues within stichd. You are part of the finance department and report to the Head of Finance. Your Mission - Leading the accounts receivable, Accounts Payable and credit Controllers teams by prioritizing work, provide operational support when needed and serve as first point of escalation for business partners and other colleagues. - Establish department goals and measure performance with appropriate KPI’s. - Assessing processes and redefine future processes. - You are able to take along your team and convince others of the added value of changes/improvement; - Accurate monitoring of customer cards and vendor cards; - Accurate monitoring of suspense accounts relating to bank movements; - Support the Financial controlling team in the month end and year end closing activities - Support the CC team in: managing the Atradius timelines; monitoring and reporting on credit risk assessments for all European entities, Mexico, China, Malaysia and North America; Assessing deliver stop blockages. - Other occurring relevant activities and/or projects. Your Talent - You have a Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting and have several years of experience within a similar positions; - At least more than 5 years of relevant experience in an international organization; - At least more than 5 years of experience in coaching of people and leading a team; - Experience in SAP is a must; - Experience in an invoice processing system is a must; - Entrepreneurial approach to role with high energy, initiative and innovation; - Effective verbal and written communication skills with strong influencing and negotiating skills; - Advanced problem-solving skills combined with solutions oriented thinking; - Positive result driven attitude; - Can do mentality; - English on proficiency level. - This role is based in Den Bosch, the Netherlands. Working remotely from other countries is not possible._ We Offer - 1-year contract with option for extension to permanent contract; - Salary per month based on 38 hours per week, depending on education and experience; - Our salaries are based on 38 hours per week, but fulltime work is 40 hours per week.
