Urban Gym Group, with over 40 clubs and studios in all major cities across the Netherlands, is a pioneer in the European wellness and fitness community. You may know us from brands such as Trainmore, ClubSportive, Renessence, and BTY CLB. Our ambitious national and international growth plans require an expansion of our finance team. You, as Team Lead Finance Operations, will play a crucial role in achieving the growth and financial objectives of Urban Gym Group.

Our finance department consists of various sub-teams, including Finance Operations (accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cash & credit control) and financial control (also responsible for payroll and tax matters). As Team Lead Finance Operations, you will lead a team of 5 employees and report to the Head of Accounting.

**Key responsibilities**:
As Team Lead Finance Operations, you will be responsible for managing our Finance Operations team, ensuring that all financial processes run smoothly. You will be a key link between financial administration, management, and other departments within the organisation. Your tasks will include:

- Leading and coaching the Finance Operations team, consisting of 5 employees
- Ensuring timely and accurate processing of payments, purchase invoices, and other financial transactions
- Responsible for banking, debtor management, processing all cash flows, and controlling credit risks (cash & credit control)
- Optimising and automating financial processes to increase efficiency and minimise errors
- Analysing financial data and proactively suggesting improvements

**You**:

- You have at least 5 years of experience in a similar role within Finance Operations
- Experience in leading and coaching a team
- A completed HBO or WO degree in a relevant field, such as Business Economics, Accountancy, or Finance
- Excellent knowledge of financial processes and systems; experience with ERP systems is a plus
- Strong analytical skills, solution-oriented, and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills in Dutch are a must
- Excellent communication skills in English
- Affinity with the fitness industry is a plus
