We are searching for a **Group Accountant** to join our accounting team.

As the **Group Accountant** at Smit Lamnalco, you will play a vital role in overseeing the day-to-day financial administration of several complex and comprehensive entities. This includes managing monthly closings and providing accurate management information on actuals, budgets, and forecasts. **Key Responsibilities**:

- Manage the accounting of corporate entities, such as holding, head office, and payroll entities.
- Prepare and submit monthly closings, periodic forecasts, and budgets.
- Support and collaborate with external auditors during audits.
- Handle CBS filings.
- Manage tax filings, including VAT submissions.
- Oversee payroll administration accounting and reporting, including WKR, in direct coordination with HR.
- Participate in ad-hoc finance projects.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements.

**Qualifications** Education and background**:

- Bachelor or master degree in finance.
- 4 - 6 years work experience.

**Must have skills**:

- Knowledge in IFRS.
- Payroll accounting including WKR.
- VAT filing.
- CBS reporting.
- Knowledge or experience in maritime industry is a pre.
- Experience with OneStream is a pre.
- Work independently while remaining a good team player.
