**What this internship looks like**

As a Finance Operations Intern, you’ll join an international, tech-forward Finance team based in Amsterdam. Working as a well respected member of our Finance team, you’ll contribute to two core areas:

- Gaining hands-on experience in the tools, processes, and strategies that power modern finance operations.
- Driving automation initiatives that simplify workflows and help the team scale effectively.

This internship is built for someone who’s eager to do more than just observe, from day one, you’ll take on meaningful responsibilities, contribute to impactful projects, and have real opportunities to learn and grow

**What you’ll be doing**
- Be a key player in optimizing our financial operations by supporting month-end close processes, reporting cycles, and strategic initiatives.
- Work alongside a high-performing finance team to ensure accurate invoicing, reconciliations, and financial documentation
- Dive into cross-functional projects where finance meets tech—contributing to automation, data-driven insights, and systems testing.
- Spot inefficiencies and help shape smarter, faster workflows by identifying tasks ripe for automation
- Collaborate with our Automation Engineers to bring innovative solutions to life and improve how we operate.
- Get hands-on experience with world-class tools like NetSuite, Stripe, and Salesforce—plus gain exposure to emerging technologies and platforms.
- Grow fast in a role that blends finance, systems thinking, and operational strategy.

**What you bring to the team**
- Currently studying Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related field (Bachelor’s or Master’s) at a university in the Netherlands **[Must-have]**
- Passion for finance operations and automation
- Tech-savvy and comfortable learning new tools and platforms.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving mindset.
- Proactive attitude — you ask, learn, and propose
- Fluent in English (spoken & written); Dutch strongly preferred.
Other languages are a bonus.
- Availability for 5-6 months, full-time, from September or October 2025.

**Bonus points if you have**:

- Experience or interest in tools like Excel, Google Sheets, or scripting (e.g., Python, SQL, Zapier).
- Exposure to finance platforms like Netsuite, Stripe, Salesforce, or similar.
- Previous internship or project work in finance, operations, or automation.
