Our Finance team supports this mission by overseeing budgets, analyzing financial performance, and guiding investments that help the company make sustainable decisions, contributing to a long-term impact on the aviation industry's transition to net-zero.

Internship Overview

As a Finance Intern, you will support the finance team in ensuring accurate and timely processing of financial transactions and maintaining compliance with company policies. You will work closely with experienced finance professionals, gaining exposure to expense management, reconciliations, and vendor communications. This internship offers hands-on learning in core finance operations and an opportunity to develop practical skills in a dynamic business environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and process employee expense claims.
  • Reach out to employees and counterparties to obtain proper supporting documentation for expenses.
  • Reconcile bank statements with company records.
  • Match purchase orders, invoices, and receipts.
  • Communicate with vendors and customers regarding payments or billing issues.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's student in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  •  Students MUST be enrolled for the entire duration of the internship.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Basic proficiency in Excel and familiarity with financial processes.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
  • Available for a 6-month period starting in January or February.

Learning Outcomes

  • Gain practical experience in core finance operations and expense management.
  • Learn how to perform reconciliations and manage vendor/customer communications and relationships.
  • Develop skills in financial documentation and compliance processes.
  • Understand the end-to-end flow of financial transactions within a corporate environment.
  • Internship allowance & daily healthy lunch at our Amsterdam office

Duration and Commitment

  • Part time Internship
  • 24-32 hours per week
  • Onsite, Amsterdam Office
