Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced EHS Specialist to support Health and Safety team to effectively -continue- to provide the SMC BV/EMEA organization with professional support and advice in the field of EHS. EHS is an important focus area for Super Micro. We must provide our employees with a safe and healthy working environment. In addition, we must minimize the negative impact on the environment and manage environmental risks.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Support EHS/SERT management operations in line with the global EHS/SERT Management Strategy
  • Support and deliver professional advice to the EHS/SERT organization and to the business which allows all employees to work in a safe, healthy, innovative and efficient work environment that respects relevant local laws, regulations and corporate policies.
  • Support and deliver professional advice to management and business regarding improving the well-being of employees, occupational safety, health protection, psychosocial aspects, ergonomics and occupational hygiene.
  • Support EHS/SERT organization in carrying out and implementing RI&E (Risk Inventory and Evaluation) and improvement plans
  • Conduct TRA risk assessments and develop procedures to mitigate EHS risks.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify EHS risks.
  • Investigate incidents, report, and take next steps to prevent recurrence and unsafe situations.
  • Organize and deliver EHS training in accordance with the company training plan to ensure EHS knowledge and increase EHS awareness among employees.
  • Participate in our Safety Emergency Response Team (SERT) as Team Leader.
  • Develop and deliver EHS reports and dashboards.
  • Work in close collaboration with ISO team to implement, maintain and improve ISO14001 and ISO45001 management systems.
Qualifications:
  • 2-5 years in a EHS specialist role in technical environment or similar.
  • Minimally HBO/MVK degree or equivalent
  • Knowledge of relevant EHS legislations and regulations
  • Excellent command of the Dutch and English language.
  • Strong computer skills. Proficient in Outlook, Excel, and Word
  • Proactive and can-do mentality.
  • Ability to multitask and be a team player 
  • Excellent communication/interpersonal 
  • Ability to function effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
