Customer Care Specialist
to support our growing operation.
At Functional Nutrition we see a future where people live healthier and more active lives, utilising the power of natural healing. We therefore support (medical) practitioners and consumers via our ecommerce platforms , and with knowledge, education and supplement products from the international field of functional nutrition.
The role itself will be based at our head office close to Amsterdam, where you'll be surrounded by a team of loyal and enthusiastic people with a real passion for this unique business and its clients.
The role offers a unique opportunity for somebody to not only deliver a superb customer care experience but also support the development of an optimal customer collaboration by implementing best-in-class processes and tools.
As Customer Care Specialist you will work closely with the Supply Chain & Marketing team, to take part in delivering a superb customer experience before, during and after purchasing via our platforms.
Our ideal candidate has a drive to 'want to help people' but also has a good dose of business savviness to turn client interactions into new business and improvement opportunities.
As a fast-growing international ecommerce scale-up we can offer you a great opportunity to take ownership to design, implement and run a great service to our clients in need of help, via multiple channels such as email/tickets, (live)chat, phone (in- & outbound) etc.
Your most frequent activities and duties would be:
- Client interaction via email/tickets, (live)chat and phone (in- & outbound)
- Develop Standard Operation Procedures to the most frequent support questions
- Design (content) marketing strategies and set short-term goals
- Share content through various channels, ensuring strong web presence
- Collaborate with marketing, operations and Supply Chain teams to continuously improve our customer experience
- Support team integrate (service) tools & services
- Interact with and learn from customers
- Receive customer feedback and generate ideas to increase customer engagement
- And other fun things
You are:
- You are interested in the health industry
- You find it exciting to work in an international environment and are fluent in spoken and written English
- You have the ability to communicate with clients, consumers, partners and suppliers on an international level
- You are an excellent communicator, with ability to build and strengthen relationships and like to work as part of a close team
- You are organised and can manage your time. Can do mentality is a must in this scale-up.
- Creative thinker, you like to use your creative mind to create new opportunities
- You have minimal an educational Bachelor degree
- Flexible to support the business during busy periods with extra hours and/or additional duties
- Sound commercial awareness and understanding of marketing (Social media, web traffic)
- Experience/sound knowledge in a marketing related role is preferred (pre)
- Experience/sound interest in web technology is preferred (pre)
- Value driven with high levels of integrity (as Trust is our main company value)
What we offer:
Functional Nutrition is a fast growing (e-commerce) business operating in a dynamic industry worldwide. We are on a mission to create the world's most trusted natural health supplements brand, within an inspiring, fulfilling work environment for our colleagues.
Package includes:
- Working hours between Monday-Friday (37 hours per week based on 5 days)
- Profit share scheme paid in January if targets have been reached
- 18% Employer pension contribution
- 25 days annual leave (pro-rata) increasing by 1 day for each year of service up to 30 days.
- Travel allowance & company laptop
- Default location: Main office close to Amsterdam (NL)
