Your work as a Lecturer in Tourism Management

The Tourism Management study programme is part of the Business, Vitality & Hospitality domain. The Tourism Management programme is taught in English, with a strong focus on hostmanship, guest experience and change management.
Are you the right fit?
You see students as individuals and realise that it is important to understand their personal needs and interests. You ensure that your students enter the professional field and are well-prepared and that they can put their knowledge into practice. You coach and motivate your students. And you determine the learning pathway together with the student. Our programme is an international program, so teaching in English is no problem for you. Your communication skills and sense of responsibility help turn our students into good professionals. In short; inspire, excite and challenge the new generation. In addition:
- You have a completed Bachelor's and above that we prefer a Master's degree in a relevant field;
- You have affinity with and experience in higher education
- You have relevant work experience in the field of tourism;
- You are a good student coach and communicate clearly;
- You have good planning and organisational skills and are result-oriented;
- You have well-developed teaching and coaching skills, including supervision of graduating students;
- You have an excellent command of English

- A temporary appointment for a year in the position of Lecturer. Continuation of the contract depends on personal performance and growth and also on whether we have the allocated budget to extend the contract.
- A gross monthly salary between € 4,173.75 and € 6,359,47 for full-time employment (scale 11 cao-hbo);
- Support in obtaining a basic qualification in didactical competence if you do not have one already (in the second contract year).
- 8.3% end-of-year bonus, 8% holiday allowance and possibly an allowance for travel expenses and/or allowance when working remotely;
- About 53 days off if you work full-time;
- Every opportunity to work on your personal and professional development;
