Employment and Incentives Senior Associate 

Location: Amsterdam

We're looking for a highly skilled and motivated Senior Associate to join our Employment & Incentives team in our Amsterdam office. As part of a global team of over 135 employment lawyers, you will work closely with partners, senior and junior team members across the globe to provide expert legal advice in employment matters, both litigious and transactional, and advise our clients to manage employment risks. 

Role

As a Senior Associate in our Employment & Incentives team you will:

• advise on restructuring and the employment aspects of corporate transactions
• manage disputes and litigation 
• advise on international compensation and incentive plans
• advise on employee participation, equality law and global mobility matters
• assist our international clients on the day-to-day (remote) management of their Dutch workforce
• supervise and mentor junior members of the team

About you

You will need to be a Netherlands-qualified lawyer, with 7 to 10 years' experience of which at least 5 years gained in private practice, along with the following skills and attributes:

• Demonstrated experience in employment law and ability to deliver technically strong strategic advice and practical solutions to clients
• Strong analytical and organisational skills, with the ability to assimilate information quickly and handle multiple priorities under pressure or within tight timeframes
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to liaise with clients and diverse stakeholder audiences; outstanding proficiency in Dutch and English
• Collegiate and collaborative, with the ability to lead, mentor and support other team members 
• Enjoy working in a fast-paced high-performing team
• Brings energy and passion to the role
