Brief summary: Verum Artes is op zoek naar een duurzaamheidsspecialist met expertise in milieurecht, vergunningen en stakeholdermanagement. De ideale kandidaat is een communicatie sterke adviseur op het gebied van duurzaamheidsstrategieën. Vloeiend Nederlands, ervaring met ISO14001 en een passie voor het stimuleren van impactvolle milieu-initiatieven.


Wat ga je doen?
Wil jij werken aan duurzaamheid binnen de mijnbouwsector, maar niet direct verantwoordelijk zijn voor hele grote trajecten? In deze rol duik je als medior Sustainability Specialist in alle fasen van de mijnactiviteiten in Nederland, met begeleiding en afstemming binnen het team. Je zorgt dat wettelijke eisen worden gevolgd, ondersteunt bij vergunningen, werkt mee aan plannen voor landherstel na mijnsluiting en helpt mee met rapportages en EU-regelgeving. Je staat middenin de uitvoering, werkt samen met lokale en globale teams en ziet hoe jouw bijdrage effect heeft op de duurzaamheidsstrategie van de organisatie.

Wie jij bent
Je bent iemand die al een paar jaar kennis en ervaring heeft opgebouwd in duurzaamheid of milieu, en je voelt je comfortabel met het werken in complexe omgevingen. Je vindt het leuk om je technische en juridische kennis verder te ontwikkelen, je hebt oog voor detail maar verliest het grotere plaatje niet uit het oog. Je werkt graag samen, je durft vragen te stellen als iets niet duidelijk is, en je neemt verantwoordelijkheid voor je eigen opdrachten binnen het bredere team.


Wat er van je gevraagd wordt

  • 3-5 jaar ervaring in duurzaamheid, milieuregelgeving of aanverwant werk.
  • Kennis van Nederlandse en Europese wet- en regelgeving op milieu- en mijnbouwgebied.
  • Ervaring met het ondersteunen van vergunningstrajecten of compliance vraagstukken.
  • Expertise in environmental impact assessments (EIA), land rehabilitation strategies, and post-mining redevelopment.
  • Bekendheid met of bereidheid om te leren werken met ISO14001 of vergelijkbare standaardenowledge of Dutch mining regulations and European sustainability frameworks.
  • Vloeiend in Nederlands, goede beheersing van Engels in woord en geschrift.
