As Technology Director (Europe) you'll define and evolve how technology amplifies creativity across our studios by connecting AI, engineering, and experience design to deliver intelligent, scalable, and beautifully crafted digital products and experiences.

  Act as a trusted advisor, translating creative and strategic ambition into scalable technology solutions.

Your Impact

1. Define the Vision and Build the Capability

2. Set the technology vision for Europe across creative tech, AI, and platform engineering.

3. Recruit, mentor, and scale multidisciplinary teams in Amsterdam and distributed hubs.

4. Embed shared standards, frameworks, and workflows that elevate quality and innovation.

5. Accelerate AI and Platform Innovation

6. Co-lead development of our agentic AI and productized technology platforms.

7. Translate global roadmaps into European pilots, commercialization, and scalable delivery.

8. Develop repeatable models—Prototype-as-a-Service, Innovation Retainers, and modular product architectures.

9. Lead Complex Experiences and Architecture

10. Oversee architecture and delivery of immersive and web-based platforms for global brands.

11. Provide technical direction across React, , , Python, and cloud ecosystems (AWS, GCP, Azure).

12. Ensure DevOps, CI/CD, and security excellence across all projects.

13. Champion Innovation and Experimentation

14. Explore emerging tech in GenAI, multimodal systems, automation, and hybrid physical-digital experiences.

15. Partner with creative leadership to prototype new forms of storytelling and interaction.
16. Represent dotdotdash as a thought leader at industry events and across Omnicom's global network.

What You Bring

• 10+ years leading technology teams within creative, innovation, or digital product environments.
• Deep understanding of full-stack architecture and scalable system design.
• Proven record delivering AI-driven or data-rich digital experiences.
• Mastery of DevOps, API-driven architectures (MACH/JAMStack), and modern cloud practices.
• Fluency in integrating headless CMSs and design tools such as Figma.
• Exceptional communicator and collaborator—bridging creative ambition and technical precision.
• Entrepreneurial mindset: able to design operating models, productize offerings, and build high-performing teams.
