You use your financial knowledge to evaluate expenses, support cost-control initiatives, and contribute to financial planning within the supply chain.

About the jobAs a logistics cost analyst you will review logistics invoices, identify cost-saving opportunities, and analyse transportation data to improve efficiency. Working with procurement, finance, and service providers, you help ensure cost-effective and forward-looking logistics operations.
Your responsibilities include:
- Verify and validate invoices from logistics service providers;
- Conduct cost analyses and prepare clear, data-driven reports;
- Identify and support cost-saving initiatives and efficiency improvements;
- Help optimize invoice approval and payment workflows;
- Contribute to pricing evaluations and tender processes;
- Serve as a point of contact for invoice discrepancies and cost-related inquiries;
- Work with internal teams to enhance and streamline logistics structures;
- Provide input for budgeting activities and cost forecasts;
- Strengthen cost transparency and support effective cost control across the organization.
You will ideally have:
- Strong analytical skills and a high attention to detail;
- Strong Excel / system skills;
- Proactive and Solution-Oriented Mindset;
- Ability to Work Independently and Under Pressure;
- A solid understanding of financial principles, including cost structures, budgeting, and invoicing. Uses this knowledge to evaluate expenses, support cost control initiatives, and contribute to financial planning within the supply chain.
