The factory is responsible for the production of advanced lithography systems, including planning and logistics. We strive to be a role-model Lean Factory, where quality is paramount and safety always comes first.

Within this environment, the Motion department is responsible for the production and qualification of complex, high-precision linear actuators used in state-of-the-art lithography systems. These systems are built and delivered according to customer requirements, on time and with the highest quality standards. Mission

Your mission is to produce actuators of the highest quality by creating and maintaining optimized production processes. This includes designing, maintaining, adapting to changing output requirements, and continuously improving production processes, as well as developing and applying methods to measure and enhance production performance.

Job Description

As a
Production Engineer
, you will:

  • Perform work preparation in the broadest sense, including defining operating instructions, process flow charts, production sequences, tooling, process parameters, and performance indicators;
  • Provide second-line support to the production organization when additional expertise is required to resolve process disturbances;
  • Perform failure analyses on quality complaints and non-conforming products or processes;
  • Provide technical expertise to support and improve production processes;
  • Coach and train operators and engineers to secure skills, product knowledge, and process knowledge;
  • Provide technical support during New Product Introductions (NPI);
  • Act as the technical knowledge owner of assigned production processes;
  • Continuously analyze production processes, identify structural problems and bottlenecks, propose improvements, and initiate their implementation in close cooperation with departments such as Development, Engineering, Production, and Logistics;
  • Participate in Continuous Improvement Teams.

Within the Production Engineering group, there are opportunities to grow into a coordinating role, focusing on work distribution and prioritization, escalation management, mentoring junior engineers, and supporting complex cross-departmental projects.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Electronics, Applied Physics, or Industrial Engineering;
  • Experience in a high-tech production environment with complex manufacturing processes;
  • Experience in Technical Production Engineering and quality methodologies such as Statistical Process Control (SPC) and FMEA is a plus;
  • Experience with (semi-)automated production lines and control systems is a plus;
  • 2–5 years of relevant work experience is preferred.
