As our Cash Manager , you are fully operationally responsible for the global cash and risk management and you report to the Director Treasury. In this role, you are responsible for ensuring that the local entities will have sufficient funds to operate the business and meet the financial obligations.
You ensure that the global company’s liquidity needs are consistently met. You safeguard, verify, and control all cash assets. You manage daily cash flow operations, including foreign exchange (FX) and liquidity movements, while focusing on improving working capital management. You also control financial risks, such as foreign currency (FC) exposure, interest rates, and counterparty risk, ensuring that Treasury reporting is accurate and complete. A key part of your responsibilities is maintaining an efficient global banking structure, which supports the organization’s financial stability. You work tirelessly to enhance the precision of short-term cash flow forecasting, crucial for informed decision-making. Additionally, you oversee the proper functioning of treasury IT systems, ensuring they support operations seamlessly.
Maintaining strong internal and external relationships is essential to your role, enabling effective communication and collaboration across various stakeholders. Through these efforts, you drive continuous improvement in treasury functions, contributing to the overall financial health of the company.
Responsibilities
Manage Corbion's daily liquidity, currency, and interest positions in accordance with treasury policy, including closing funding, foreign exchange, and interest rate swap transactions within authorized limits. Implement and manage an efficient global bank infrastructure, including bank accounts and cash pools. Oversee short-term cash flow forecasting and improve its accuracy. Manage the Global Payment Hub and support and train the local finance group on various country-specific payment types. Handle internal financing and equity transactions. Manage the Credit Facilities, including the Revolving Credit Facility. Establish and maintain procedures and controls. Prepare and deliver comprehensive treasury reports, including liquidity and risk positions, closed transactions, treasury performance, quarterly consolidated management report, and the finance position of Corbion entities. Lead working capital management improvement initiatives. Advise regional finance and business organizations on ad hoc queries. Assist the Treasury Director in foreign exchange and interest rate management. Develop treasury policies and procedures and contribute to long-term financial planning. Control pricing and conditions of bank charges and interest calculations. Drive continuous improvement of treasury tools and technology. Support the Treasury Director in future corporate finance activities.Knowledge and Experience
Bachelor's or Master's degree in economics (or equivalent experience). Minimum 2 years of experience in an international treasury environment. Preferably additional training in treasury management (ACT Cash Management is a plus). Knowledge of currency and money markets. Understanding of derivatives in forex and interest rate management. Affinity with automated data processing. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Treasury systems is a plus. Additional treasury training and experience will be provided.Personal Qualities
