Due to a period of leave, we would like to replace the role of our Brand Designer within Renewi's Communications team for a limited time. As a Brand Designer within a corporate company, you play a crucial role in building and maintaining a strong brand. Through your creative skills and strategic insight, you will contribute to the company's success and ensure that the brand is presented in a consistent and impactful way. Therefore, we are looking for a talented and experienced professional to fill his role.

BRAND DESIGNER

Period: 19th August 2024 – 17th January 2025

Min. 32 hrs a week

Your key Responsibilities:

Maintain Renewi Brand Guidelines & Visual Identity: You will ensure that all internal and external stakeholders understand and adhere to brand presentation standards. Your role involves developing a cohesive visual brand image that accurately reflects our company's values and key messages. Design Promotional and Communication Materials: Create and produce a variety of communication assets, including brochures, presentations, advertisements, banners, and other visual elements. Ensure all materials align with brand guidelines and effectively communicate our message. Collaborate with Internal Stakeholders: Work closely with the marketing and communications team, as well as other internal partners, to ensure brand consistency across all communication channels. Provide guidance and support to colleagues on proper brand representation. Engage in External Collaboration: Work with external design agencies and printers to ensure our brand is presented consistently and effectively.

Skills and Qualifications Required:

Proficient in graphic design software and techniques, including Canva, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Illustrator. Strong knowledge of the entire Office365 suite. Excellent skills in color use and composition. Proven experience in developing and maintaining brand identities. Creative thinking with a keen eye for detail. Ability to work under tight deadlines and adapt to a dynamic environment. Team player with the ability to work independently when needed.

Deliverables During the Leave Period:

Refresh Website: Ensure the new look and feel of the website align with the Renewi Brand Guidelines. Update Brand Book for Containers and Trucks: Develop updated versions reflecting the latest brand standards. Support the Comms Hub: Assist in the development and rollout.
Create Templates: Develop templates for Canva and Office 365 to ensure consistent branding.
