The Order Operation Expert will process, monitor andcoordinate all activities related to the order pipeline andshort-term demand planning. Along with your colleagues, you providetraining's and guidance to your stakeholders to increase theirunderstanding of the sales order process and procedures.

Your job as the Expert Sales OrderOperations
Your responsibilities can bedivided by Order Management (55%), Short term demand planning (35%)and Process & system optimisation (10%). You will mostlymonitor the daily order pipeline, ensuring timely and accurateorder processing. You act as the primary contact for order-relatedcommunications, handling complaints, and escalations efficiently.You ensure Regional Distribution Centres are stocked according tobusiness rules and sales plans and generate reports on back orders,analysing reasons, and implementing actions to maximisesales. Key responsibilities include:

  • Coordinate with the shipping team on pre-plannedshipments and process outbound cancellations promptly.
  • Issue credit anddebit notes and provide additional support for sales orderrequests, changes, and returns.
  • Assess weekly risks associated with order fulfilmentbased on stock levels and sales plans, and communicate results toGeneral Managers.
  • Align with the sales team toensure fair stock allocation and identify potentialconflicts.
  • Manage monthly allocation itemswith international partners, communicate product availability, andimplement system limitations for critical items.
  • Resolve weekly/monthly order interface issues and blockeddeliveries promptly.
  • Monitor and report systemoutages to internal IT teams, aiming for continuous processoptimisation.
  • Collaborate with internaldepartments to improve customer satisfaction and systemperformance.

You'll be part of the SalesSupport Center, working closely with a team of professionalsdedicated to delivering exceptional sales backoffice servicesacross 18 subsidiaries and over 60 international partners. The teamis led by the Team Lead Sales Order Desk, and together, you'llstrive to exceed customer expectations through process optimisationand effective communication.

You areanalytically minded and enjoy working in a customer focused rolewhere you continuously consider process optimisation and customersatisfaction. You have strong communication and interpersonalskills that allow you to work well within a team as well asindependently. You are detail-oriented and can share your analysiswith both your colleagues and stakeholders. Furthermore:

  • Previous work experience in a similar positione.g. Order Operation and/or Short Term Demand Planning.
  • Solid knowledge of order processing & monitoringusing SAP system.
  • Experience using a ticketingsystem or software.
  • Excellent (proven)knowledge of data analytics & advanced Excel functionalitiessuch as Pivot Tables and Power Query.
