Job Description
The HR  Operations Specialist is a key role within the HR team, responsible for supporting the  smooth execution of HR processes. This position at Zoho Europe is a blend of strategic thinking and operational execution, focusing on improving employee experience, maintaining efficient HR systems, and ensuring compliance with company policies for our European team. The People Operations Specialist will play a critical role in the employee lifecycle, from onboarding to offboarding, while also driving initiatives that enhance workplace culture and employee engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

Employee Life Cycle Management
  • Oversee the full employee lifecycle including onboarding, performance management, promotions, and offboarding.
  • Collaborate with managers and team leads to ensure a smooth and positive onboarding experience.
  • Manage exit processes, conducting exit interviews, and analyze feedback for continuous improvement
HR Operations and Administration
  • Maintain and manage HRIS systems, ensuring data accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Handle employment contract preparation, employee records, ensuring they are up-to-date and compliant with legal requirements.
  • Prepare HR reports and analyze trends to support decision-making.
  • Assist with payroll processing, benefits administration, and other HR-related financial tasks.
  • Maintain and monitored key HR metrics, including turnover rates, time-to-hire, employee engagement scores, and absenteeism rates, to provide actionable insights for management.
  • Prepare and deliver comprehensive HR reports for management, such as Diversity and Inclusion Reports, Compensation
  • Analysis, and Employee Satisfaction Surveys, to support data-driven decision-making
Employee Relations
  • Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries related to HR policies, benefits, and company procedures.
  • Address employee concerns and issues, escalating them when necessary to HR Manager.
Compliance and Risk Management
  • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and respective country employment laws and regulations.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
  • Support internal audits and compliance-related activities.
Culture and Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion (DEI):
  • Support the implementation of DEI initiatives to foster an inclusive workplace.
  • Promote company culture through various programs and communication efforts.
  • Champion initiatives that enhance employee well-being and satisfaction

RequirementsEducation
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR, CIPD) is a plus.
  • Marketing and HR combined degree and work experience is also acceptable
Experience:
  • 3-5 years of experience in HR, People Operations, or related roles.
Skills
  • Strong understanding of HR practices, employment laws, and regulations in Europe (EU and UK).
  • Proficiency in HRIS and other HR software systems.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Proactive, with a continuous improvement mindset and able to deal with the day to day ambiguity at work.
