At Hypernode, part of team.blue, were on a mission to diversify e-commerce, by providing webshops of all sizes solutions to power remarkable online experiences.

As the Software Team Leader, you will play a vital role in our Software Engineering team, with responsibilities that extend across leadership of the team, steering the agile process and making sure the technical direction is kept in close cooperation with the team.

What your day will look like

We are seeking a Software Leader to manage our team of 8 Software Engineers with full end-to-end responsibility of the Hypernode platform. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Software Engineering, with a proven track record of managing an agile software team. Reporting directly to the Software Director, the Software Leader will have a strong focus on both expanding and maintaining the platform.

What you have

Lead and Mentor : Guide the software engineers through the development lifecycle, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality software solutions. Collaboration and Communication : Work closely with the Product Owner and other stakeholders to define project requirements and ensure alignment with business goals. The Agile process : Lead and oversee all stages of the agile process from task to deployment, including refinement, planning and tracking progress. Resource Management : Manage team resources effectively, ensuring optimal allocation and utilization. Performance Management : Conduct performance reviews, provide feedback, and foster professional growth and development within the team. Technical Expertise : Provide technical guidance and support to the team, in close cooperation with the Tech Lead. Code Review and Quality Assurance : Ensure together with the Tech Lead coding standards are met and implement quality assurance practices to maintain high software quality.

Qualifications

A seasoned background with 5-7+ years in software development, experience in management and leading the agile process Proven leadership skills from similar role, with an ambition for further professional growth Strong understanding of team dynamics, software engineering and the agile process Exceptional decision-making skills, effective communication, and a strategic outlook on software development Hands-on technical experience, both from Software Engineering and Operations Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with a proactive and entrepreneurial mindset. Proficiency in English, Dutch is a nice to have A preference for office-based work Bonus points for having a special place in your heart for the Magento community

Bachelor or master degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

Hybrid Working
 At you work at home or from another workspace. Once a week you will work at our office in consultation with your team. The second day at the office you can choose yourself.
