Dit ga je doen

Je gaat aan de slag bij het highrisk warehouse van onze Amerikaanse opdrachtgever vlakbij Schiphol. Het is een bijzondere plek, wereldwijd zijn er maar vijf vergelijkbare warehouses.  Je komt te werken in een fijne, stabiele omgeving (hoe waardevol is dat) met veel afwisseling. De sfeer is heel gemoedelijk en collegiaal. Iedereen maakt een praatje, helpt elkaar en is respectvol in de omgang. Een werkplek waar je gewoon jezelf kunt zijn. 

Als security operator (camera observant) ben je de spin in het web binnen ons security team. Je houdt goed overzicht van wat er allemaal in en rond het warehouse gebeurt. Bij afwijkingen ga je direct tot actie over en schakel je de juiste personen in. Je bent de oren en ogen van de supervisor van dienst en informeert hem gevraagd en ongevraagd over de security processen. Multi-tasken gaat je gemakkelijk af en je houdt onder alle omstandigheden het hoofd koel. Je rapporteert nauwkeurig alle dagelijkse bijzonderheden. 

Je combineert de diensten als camera observant met de reguliere beveiligingsdiensten. Heb je leidinggevende ambities? Deze rol is een goede voorbereiding op de eventuele rol van Supervisor. Jouw taken zijn helder en overzichtelijk en er zijn geen fysieke werkzaamheden.

Werken bij Securitas betekent inspelen op onverwachte situaties en altijd de ‘actiemodus’ aan. Je pakt door en bent duidelijk met een glimlach en een ‘tot-hier-en-niet-verder-mentaliteit’. Jij ziet en hoort wat anderen niet opmerken. Ook ben je geduldig en goed in je contact met mensen en 24/7 beschikbaar inclusief weekenden en feestdagen.

Daarbovenop heb jij voor deze vacature: 

  • Een MBO diploma Beveiliger 2 
  • De beheersing van de Nederlandse taal en Engelse taal. Ook bij stressvolle situaties kom jij in het Nederlands en Engels goed uit je woorden
  • Computervaardigheden
  • Proactief, klantvriendelijk, flexibel in denken en doen en communicatief sterk
  • Rijbewijs en eigen vervoer. OV komt niet in de buurt van de locatie

Goed om te weten: voordat je jouw arbeidsovereenkomst ontvangt, wordt er een assessment toegestuurd en wordt er altijd een screening bij de politie uitgevoerd. Deze screening duurt 6 tot 8 weken en voor een positieve uitslag is het vereist dat je niet eerder in aanraking bent geweest met politie of justitie. Ook sta je de afgelopen 8 jaar ingeschreven in een gemeente in Nederland.
