Job Description

As Strategy Director, you will:

  • Lead the development of creative and communications strategies for global brands.

  • Write inspiring creative briefs that balance a high level of creative ambition with strategic rigour.

  • Direct the strategic planning process from conceptualization through execution, ensuring collaboration across departments and with external partners (media, PR, clients, etc.).

  • Use qual and quant data to power the entire strategic journey, working closely with and helping direct our Data and Culture lab to ensure we capture the juiciest insights.

  • Build comms strategies that break down big business objectives into concrete strategic tasks, understanding the barriers to overcome.

  • Cultivate and strengthen senior-level client relationships, providing strategic guidance and thought leadership that enhances our partnerships.

  • Drive new business development, identifying opportunities for agency growth and leading pitches for high-profile projects.

  • Be involved in new business

  • Mentor junior team members with the intent of guiding them and help them grow;


Qualifications

If you are:

  • A seasoned strategist with 8+ years under your belt and experience working on award-winning campaigns for global brands.

  • Tapped into culture and curious as hell about people and what makes them tick and do and say the things they do.

  • A pirate or punk obsessed with finding new and valuable ways to connect with people.

  • Passionate about communication, creativity, brands and digital.

  • Always willing to step up to make the work and world better

  • Looking for your next step up in a role that will both challenge and reward you

What You've Done Before:

  • You have 8+ years of experience in strategic roles within top-tier agencies or brands, with a proven track record of leading strategy on a large scale.

  • You have extensive experience in developing and implementing award winning strategies that are both creative and effective. Bonus points for Cannes Lions, Effies, IPA Awards, etc.

  • You are well-versed in comms planning, creative development, and market research, with a strong ability to integrate these elements into cohesive strategies.

  • You are knowledgeable about advertising strategy and understand what drives effectiveness.

  • You understand data and can leverage it to build creative strategies.

  • You have a history of successful team leadership and client relationship management, demonstrating both strategic acumen and interpersonal excellence.
