Employment agencyManpower is looking for a Lab Technician Cheese for DSM-Firmenichin Delft. 

As a labtechnician, you will work with two other technicians to producevarious cheeses in the pilot plant using different ingredients.Monitoring and analyzing the cheeses as they mature, is a part ofyour role. The team also ensures hygiene and safety in the Cheesepilot plant, lab, and ripening facilities. As a lab technician youwill have the following responsibilities: 
  • Execution of multiple types of analyses (chemical,rheological) on ingredients and final products
  • Raw material intake to ripening andmaintenance of the final products
  • Pilot scaleand small-scale production of various types of cheeses
  • Organizing tasting sessions to assess theproducts
  • Reporting of results, conclusions andrecommendations for further development

Functie-eisen
  • A mbo degree or higher in Food/Diary science or otherrelevant Bio Science
  • Recently graduated withrelevant internship experience
  • Passion forcheese, food science, or microbiology is a strong plus
  • Availability of 40 hours per week 
  • Fluency in English, regarding to workingactivities
  • Strong communication skills,technical proficiency, and highly developed skills working in amulti-disciplinary environment
  • Sense ofownership, delivering results that matter and contributesignificantly to our success
