Your function

As a student assistant in the Research Office, you will provide daily support for the research office tasks. This could include: 



Your duties



supporting researchers with the use of PURE/Researcher Portalensuring the timely updating and maintenance of research support informationorganizing both routine and special meetingshandling various administrative tasks (correspondence, recording meeting proceedings and reports, organizing office information and managing data)assisting in the coordination of events, including both smaller gatherings and larger-scale events like the Talma Event and the Research Office workshops

Your profile

you are a (pre-)master or bachelor student at VU (and after this year you will still study with us)you have affinity with research and organizingyou are independent and pro-activeyou have good Dutch and English speaking and writing skills

a salary € 2.,00 - € 2.,00 gross per month, on a full-time basis. This is based on UFO profile Student Assistant. The exact salary depends on your education and experience.a position for at least 0.3-0.4 FTE (max 2 days a week). Your employment contract will initially last 1 year.

A full-time 38-hour working week comes with a holiday leave entitlement of hours per year. If you choose to work 40 hours, you have 96 extra holiday leave hours on an annual basis. For part-timers, this is calculated pro rata.8% holiday allowance and 8.3% end-of-year bonusdiscount on (and occasionally exclusive access to) theater performances and courses at the Griffioen Cultural Centera wide range of sports facilities which staff may use at a modest chargethe possibility to work partly from home
